Last June a friend of mine from high school, Nathan Oliver, decided to come back to Maine to shoot his first 16mm feature film The Zombies are Coming to Town! The movie is finished and at 12:00am on April 22 at the Braden Theater in Presque Isle a sold out theater got to see the movie for the first time. I am happy I was there to see it, actually thanks to a donation from someone who was following the movie, I was able to see it. It was great seeing it for the first time, but what was even better was how much everyone there loved it. The movie was completely set and shot in northern Maine, and the cast and crew was also from northern Maine. The movie never would have happened if it wasn't for all of the great people who volunteered their time to make the film. I was one of the first ones there to start the filming and one of the last to leave when shooting wrapped, and I am glad I got to be a part of the production. I want to share a few photos I took at the premiere, I was the official on-set photographer during production, so of course I had to take more at the premiere. Everyone should also check out their facebook page
here and show your support for the film!
More photos after the break!
