Katie and Diesel
It's been a few days since the last post, but I have been busy and that is always a good thing! I wanted to post up a few photos from a shoot I had with Katie and her dog Diesel. We started off the shoot in two different locations, when you tell someone you are going to meet them at the city forest you should probably mention a specific place haha. That was my bad, but we did finally meet up and the weather was nice enough to cooperate and the rain held off. Once things got going we had a great time, I must say that Diesel has quite the personality and he kept on trying to catch flies which made for a few laughs. On to the photos! For those who might be wondering Diesel is a black lab and mastiff mix and a pretty photogenic dog.

The Zombies are Coming to Town Movie Premiere!
Last June a friend of mine from high school, Nathan Oliver, decided to come back to Maine to shoot his first 16mm feature film The Zombies are Coming to Town! The movie is finished and at 12:00am on April 22 at the Braden Theater in Presque Isle a sold out theater got to see the movie for the first time. I am happy I was there to see it, actually thanks to a donation from someone who was following the movie, I was able to see it. It was great seeing it for the first time, but what was even better was how much everyone there loved it. The movie was completely set and shot in northern Maine, and the cast and crew was also from northern Maine. The movie never would have happened if it wasn't for all of the great people who volunteered their time to make the film. I was one of the first ones there to start the filming and one of the last to leave when shooting wrapped, and I am glad I got to be a part of the production. I want to share a few photos I took at the premiere, I was the official on-set photographer during production, so of course I had to take more at the premiere. Everyone should also check out their facebook page here and show your support for the film!

Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race 2011
Last weekend was the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race, and I had to head down to the stream to snap a few photos. This race has been run since 1967 and every year is just as exciting as the last. The reason I like to shoot this particular race is because I was actually a participant in the 2007 canoe race.

Model Shoot with Katie
I wanted to post up some photos from the model shoot with my friend Katie. We went to a few spots around Bangor and the Kenduskeag stream for some nice changes in scenery. Overall it was a fun shoot and I hope you enjoy the photos.
